Thankgiving

I am so excited to go see Benjamin's family for Thanksgiving this year. We are going for a week and it will be such a nice break. When I think of Thanksgiving I always think of several things at once: -Pumpkin Pie -Turkey -Football -naps -family -and the only snowy Thanksgiving I have ever experienced (or maybe the only one I remember). I think I was about six and we had my mom's whole family over for Thanksgiving dinner. It began with a HUGE snowstorm and we were not even sure if everyone was going to come over. Well the snow let up so on they came. As we were waiting for the food to finish cooking the power went off because of the storm. And then my sister (Jessica) threw up in my uncle's lap in the candlelight. A close second is the one where my mother put her hand down on the burner that she had just turned off. I call that one "Trip to the Emergency Room Thanksgiving. " Or the one where my grandmother forgot to take the wax paper off of the pie crust before she put in the pumpkin filling oh and she didn't add the sugar to the mixture. The look on my pa-pa's face was priceless. I love Thanksgiving.
